Amphibian Australia was born to create clothing that belongs to the scuba diving community – apparel that reflects our passion for adventure while honouring the planet we explore.
From day one, we have committed ourselves to only sourcing premium certified 100% organic cotton for our unisex designed clothing, with a vision of achieving tiers with certified 100% Regenerative Organic Cotton and certified 100% Reclaimed Organic Cotton in the future. Because to us, sustainability isn’t a trend – it’s a responsibility. We also aim to provide avenues for recycled pre-loved clothing to further keep waste from landfill in the future.
Our promise doesn’t end with fabric. We work only with suppliers who share our values: regenerative practices that heal the earth, environmentally conscious supply chains that reduce harm, and fair wages that respect the dignity of every worker. These choices aren’t always easy, but as divers, we know the deepest rewards lie beyond the hardest challenges. Amphibian people – our people – are cut from the same cloth. Sustainability
At Amphibian Australia , we believe in the ability to aim for sustainability at every step of our process. From our birth in 2025, we aim to use a minimum 100% Organic Cotton, certified by GOTS (Global Organic Cotton Textile Standard) free from harmful chemicals for our unisex range of clothing. This approach not only protects the land but also fosters healthier working conditions for those in the fields and their communities.
It also feels kinder to the skin when you wear it.
For our premium products into the future, we will go even further with 100% Regenerative Organic Cotton (ROC Certified). This farming method, pioneered by Patagonia and Outknown, promotes environmental restoration through crop rotation and soil regeneration, which helps replenish the land rather than depleting it. It also ensures that farmers receive fair wages, supporting their dignity and well-being while reducing our overall environmental footprint.
In the future we will also be aiming to have a large portion of our products available for resale and reuse to further reduce the amount of waste and carbon footprint we leave behind.
Partnering for a Greener Future
We’ve joined forces with Arbor, a company dedicated to transforming waste biomass into clean energy and capturing carbon dioxide. Their goal is to reduce carbon emissions by up to 99%, while producing 1,000 kWh of clean energy for every tonne of CO₂ removed. As part of our partnership, we donate 1% of our profits to support Arbor’s efforts in combating climate change.
